New Contract with Sinopec in Qingdao, China

液化空气，在青岛自1995年以来，已与青岛炼油化化工有限公司，中国石化附属公司签订了新的长期协议(China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation)山东省青岛。根据本协议的条款，液化空气将供应nitrogen necessary for the new Qingdao refinery by pipeline。This new contract demonstrates the desire of the Group to expand its pipeline networks in the industrial basins, and is a further example of the decision by industrial groups in China to outsource their gas requirements.

In 2005, Air Liquide acquired a local company with an ASU (Air Separation Unit) in Qingdao Economic and Technical Development Area and will soon commission another ASU for投资2000万欧元。This ASU will supply Qingdao Refining&Chemical and also Lidong Chemical as previously announced.

It is part of the plan to accelerate investments in high-growth segments recently announced by the Group。“
