液化空气participates in the fight against climate change

November 20, 2009

From December 7 through December 18, 2009, a total of 192 countries will be sending representatives to the Copenhagen Summit in Denmark. The aim of COP 15, the United Nations’ conference, is to come to a global agreement on energy and climate. Air Liquide develops the technologies that will participate in the fight against global warming.

The Copenhagen conference aims to lead to a global agreement on energy and climate that will take over from the Kyoto Protocol as of 2013, in the interest of containing the average increase in temperatures to below 2°C.

One of the major priorities of the conference is the减少温室气体排放适用于所有利益攸关方,包括新兴和工业化国家和经济体。会议还将解决适应气候变化,技术转移和实施这些举措的机制的影响的问题。

所有这些问题对于我们星球和世界公民的未来至关重要。

液化空气participates in the fight against climate change by developing the innovative technologies that contribute to achieving reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, such as the capture and storage of CO2, and supplies the hydrogen that enables the production of cleaner fuels. The Group is also developing clean alternative energies, such as photovoltaic, second generation biofuels and hydrogen and fuel cells.

活力and the Environment是液化空气五个增长驱动因素的一部分,其中旨在保护环境和生命的解决方案中的60%以上的研发预算。
