Helium refrigeration around 2K

Tailor-made refrigerators for large-scale superconductor projects

Our refrigeration systems are intended for research centres using superconductors and operating them at a temperature where the helium is superfluid (around 2 K) for their particle accelerator experiments, and they are specially designed to meet the requirements of customer applications. They include the helium refrigerator capable of delivering helium in the form required at 4.5 K, a supercritical liquid for supply to the user application such as magnets, and reducing the temperature of the helium to 2 K or 1.8 K by pumping the helium so that it reaches the necessary pressure of 30 mbars abs. or 15 mbars abs. as appropriate.
Our refrigerators are also capable of supplying the necessary concomitant refrigeration at intermediate temperatures (80 K screening etc.). They can also include the fluid storage and distribution systems and the purification systems if necessary.
