This range of ALASKA control units meet cooling and heating needs over a vast temperature range (-140°C to +200°C), for laboratories or industries.
ALASKA cooling and heating units are appliances that allow heat transfer liquids such as methanol, dichloromethane and silicone oils etc., to be cooled and reheated. They are straightforward and very reliable appliances that can be supplied with liquid nitrogen for cooling, or with steam for reheating, and they operate at temperatures ranging from -140°C to +200°C. It should be noted that the steam exchanger can be replaced by an electric heater. 这些单位在特定的高度suitable for applications that require a rapid variation in temperature and in refrigerant capacity.
The significant refrigerant capacity available during the reaction phase means that the exothermicity of a reaction can be controlled in complete safety.
Air Liquide offers standard turnkey solutions up to refrigerant capacity of 100 kW and tailor-made up to 400 kW.
Units easy to integrate:lightweight and taking up little space (compact).
Environmentally friendly:the use of liquid nitrogen as a cold source is fully environmentally friendly unlike other fluids used as a cold source (CFC, chlorinated fluorinated compound, etc.)
Flexibility of use:adaptable to any capacity
Reliability:the straightforwardness of the equipment and the absence of rotary machines cut equipment maintenance to a minimum.
Low operating costs:energy optimisation of exchangers and therefore of nitrogen consumption
Safety:using liquid nitrogen is a safe way of meeting the constraints of processes presenting special risks (flammability, explosivity, toxicity).
Quick pull down:the ALASKA unit can be refrigerated in under half an hour.
